The village of Breste (Pleven District) is located in North-Western Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Cherven bryag. It is at distance of 10km from municipal center town of Cherven Bryag. The area is rich of elm (in Bulgarian - Bryast close to the name of the village - Breste), beech and oak trees. The river of Belilkata springs near the village. Around 10km away is situated canyon of the river Rachene. The land or Breste is passed from ancient Roman roads and there are traces of prehistoric and past-antique village in area of Gorgos. The majority of inhabitants are Bulgarians - Orthodox Christians (80%) and Roma (20%). The village holiday is on Dimitrovden - 26 October (St Dimitar day) and there is the church with same name "Sveti Dimitar". Breste has regular bus connection with town of Cherven bryag.
