GodechThe town of Godech (Sofia district) is municipal center of municipality Godech. The town is founded in a valley on the far west of Stara Planina, where the river Nishava passes. The settllment is about 20km east of the Serbian border and has its highest peak Kom (2016 m) to the north.
The area of Godech is widely non-industrial and ecologically clean zone which tourism capabilities have been underestimated for a long time.
The untouched nature along with numerous cultural monuments and historical records make the place exceptionally suitable for excursions, amusements and relaxation.
