Village of Litakovo

One of the oldest in Botevgrad region village of Litakovo is located in South-West Bulgaria (Sofia District). It is situated in the foots of Stara Planina mountain near the rivers Pisani i Bogovina 11km north-west from town of Blagoevgrad. There are two uplands surround - Mechovo burdo at north and Drunovo burdo at south. At west betwen Litakovo and Stara Planina mountain there is flat fields and then mountain masssif named Brezovitsa.
There are 28 chapels and one church (St Nikolay built 1851) in the village.
