The village is center of Anton Municipality. Zlatitsa-Teteven mountain, part of Middle Balkan mountain, spreads its steep slopes to the valley. The view to the mountain peaks of the main Balkan ridge is unforgettable. The climate is continental with mountain influence. The dam of Dushantsi is only 3 km from the village and it is built on the Topolnitsa river. The area around the village of Anton gives many possibilities for recreation as the chance for fishing or swimming. The most interesting cultural heritage is the ruins of the oldest monastery in these lands-dating from IV century.
