The village of Vetren (Kyustendil district) is located in South-West Bulgaria, just next to the Bulgarian - Macedonian border, and is included in municipality Nevestino. It is situated in the eastern part of Osogovo mountain in region named Piyanets, 35 kilometers south of the regional center of Kyustendil. It is very specific village because the fact it is separated from the border between Bulgaria and Macedonia - part of its southern neighborhoods form Vetren village in the municipality Delchevo from the Republic of Macedonia. Sights: - Area "Krastati Kamen" situated 1.45 kilometers southwest of Damyantsi neighborhood, near the border line. There is a large stone cross (height 2. 60 meters and width of shoulders - 2.10 meters). - Remains of an old church in the neighborhood Novakovtsi in area of "Krasto-blato" - The Church in the village of Vetren - "St. Apt. Peter and Paul" built 1899
