 The village of Rajdavitsa (Kyustendil district) is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Kyustendil. It is situated 14 km north of Kyustendil. The village borders the east, north and west to hills and at south there are rich and fertile lands. His land are crossing by three rivers - Struma, Dragovishtitsa and Shegava.
History: There are data for settlers in these lands from old times. Settlement of the current village Razhdavitsa happened in the second half of the 16th century and first half of the 17th. After The Chiprovsko uprising in 1668, the village was completely destroyed but gradually was restored again by Christian refugees (mainly from village of Kochani that is now in Macedonia).
Sightseeing:
- Altar and Cross of the old church "Uspenie Bogorodichno" ("Assumption") (built in 1600) are located in the current church, built in 1936 at the base of the old.
- In Archaeological Museum in Kyustendil is displayed a valuable antique book "Razhdavichki collection" from 12 century that is written on an Old parchment
