The town of Boboshevo (Kyustendil district) is located in South-West administrative region of Bulgaria. It lies in the lowest part of the southwestern ridge of the Rila Mountains, in the fertile valley of the Struma River (where it meets with the German River). Boboshevo is situated 85 km to the south of capital city of Sofia and 65 km from the famous ski resort of Bansko. A short 4 km away from Boboshevo is the main road connecting Sofia with the Greek border. The region is rich in churches and monasteries, most of which date back to that period and most popular is the monastery St.Dimitar (Boboshevski monastery).
