The village of Goreme is located in South-West Bulgaria. It is part of Strumyani Municipality, Blagoevgrad District. Goreme is situated in mountain region. In the area "Staro Gradishte" near the village of Goreme an ancient village and 1600 copper coins which dated from XII – XIII century have been found.
