It is situated at northern mountain slope, in the foothills of the western part of Maleshevskata mountain (aka Krupnishka mountain), along the west side of the Struma River, 7 km southwestern direction from town of Simitli. The village can be reached by road passing under a bridge over the Struma River (located to the right of the main road). Landmarks: The remains of an ancient settlement and a medieval necropolis are found in the eastern part of the village; The church St. Archangel Michial built 1935 - this is the only church in Bulgarian that is dome, cruciform and nave shape in the same time; Krupnishkoto Gospel (from 16 century) - presented to the Rila Monastery, where it is stored today.
