It is part of Razlog Municipality, Blagoevgrad District. It is situated in the northern part of the Razlojka Valley, 6 km to the north of the town of Razlog. The Sedarch River and its tributary – the Kouda River – pass through the land of the village, which are suitable for fishing. There is also a base of the State hunting reserve "Pirin" – town of Razlog, which is situated in the Perivol place – to the north-west of the village. Roes, deer, goats and others are growing there, so it is suitable for the lovers of the hunt. In the "Self-educated" Community Center, which was founded in 1928, there are a library, cinema, 1 male and 3 female folklore vocal groups and a dance group. There is also a small historical collection. In 1976 it is declared a bath and a health resort with a local significance.
