The village of Kamena (Blagoevgrad district) is located in South-Western Bulgaria and is part from municipality Petrich. It is situated in the foot of the Belasitsa mountain, 6-7 kilometers away from the border with Macedonia and about 30 km from border with Greece. The town of Melnik is about 33 km away and village of Rupite - about 23 kilometers. The village has a holiday base with several bungalows and hotel.

The village of Kamena is included in borders of the park Belasitsa and the nature around is beautiful. Nearby is located one of the several waterfall in park Belasitsa. To it leads a marked eco-trail that starts from the bungalows and moves along the Kameshnitsa river. Another landmark in the region is the Samuilova Fortress near village of Klyuch.
