The village of Marchevo (Blagoevgrad district) is located in South-West Bulgaria in the foot of the Rhodopi Mountains. The village is included in municipality Gurmen. It is situated close to the village of Ognyanovo which is famous with its mineral baths, and at 45 km away from Bansko, 8 km away from the town of Gotse Delchev, 30 km away from the Border check point Ilinden.

Near Marchevo flows Kanina river that later flowing into the Mesta river. The water supply for the village of Marchevo comes from Ognyanovo mineral baths. The water is mineral, clear, without smell, with temperature from 39 to 43 degree C. It helps the treatment of gynaecological problems, disorders of the nervous system, the kidneys and the locomotive system.

Sights of Marchevo: 5km away from the village are situated the ruins of the Roman town "Nikopolis ad Nestum". It was erected by the emperor Trayan in 105 ad.
