Osenovo

The village of Osenovo (Blagoevgrad District) is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Bansko. It is situated 27kms from one ski resort of Bansko. The region is very beautiful - Pirin mountains in the distance and stunning rolling hills in the other direction.
The rural scenery in Osenovo is everywhere. It is a small village, populated by a primarily older generation who are more used to horse and carts than cars. At the center, on the village square, there is Bulgarian style pub (known as Mekhana) which is great if you want to experience Bulgarian culture, taste the local drink all at great prices.
