The village of Filipovo (Blagoevgrad District) is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Bansko. It is situated just off the main road to Bansko ski resort (25kms away) and just before Osenovo village. Village of Filipovo is a classic example of a traditional Bulgarian village. It has the basic amenities such as a village shop and a local pub (mehana).
