Village of Lesovo, Elhovo area

The village of Lesovo is located in South-East Bulgaria next to Bulgarian-Turkish border (only 3 km from the main international road to Turkey and only 7 km from the border). It is part of Elhovo Municipality, Yambol District. On May, 2005, the check point Lesovo – Hamzabeglii was opened . From Lesovo it will take you no longer than an half hour to Odrin /Turkey/. The village is at distance 120 km from the Sea town of Burgas and 23 km from the town of Elhovo (municipal centre).
