Malko Sharkovo DamThe village of Malko Sharkovo (Yambol District) is located in South-Easthern Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Bolyarovo. Its is situated in Strandja mountain near border with Turkey, 9 km away from town of Bolyarovo, 25 km away from town of Elhovo, 61 km away from town of Yambol and 83 km away from seaside city of Bourgas. Two kilometres away from the village, surrounded by low range of hill, is situated Malko Sharkovo Dam. It is the second largest dam in Bulgaria and what is unique to it is its genuine dyke. There is a project for building a holiday camp with a sports and leisure complex in the area.
