It is situated at the slopes of the Sredna Gora Mountain Range in the East-Tracian region, about 16 km away from city of Stara Zagora. In addition to its beautiful landscape the area is also famous for its Tracian sanctuaries, remains of fortresses, ancient churches and beautiful Greek orthodox monasteries. The area can be explored on mountain tracking trips by foot or bicycle. There are mineral spas (35-40 deg C) in the village of Yagoda catering to guests with these problems or just in need of revitalization. These natural waters provide many opportunities for the potential investors. There are already an initial investments in a mineral water swimming pool and a hotel base.
