The town of Shivachevo (Sliven District) is located in South-East Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Tvarditsa. It is situated in foot of Eleno - Tvardishkata mountain in Shivacheska valley (one of the smallest from Zadbalkan valleys), 30km west from town of Sliven, 25km north from town of Nova Zagora and 12 km east from municipal center Tvarditsa. The relief around is mountainous with valleys. The town is surrounded from upland of Mezdenik (South-West) and Shivacheski hill (Karabair). The highest peak around is Kichesta peak (1425m).
There are number of small rivers in the region of Shivachevo that flow into river of Blyagornitsa and one mineral spring near the old coal-mine Hadzhi Dimitar.
