Similarly to other nearby towns and villages, Tzarevo is situated at the very border between the Strandzha Mountain and the sea. Ancient Greek colony and a fishing settlement. In 1880 a big fire burns down the village, which springs to life anew in a place close by, populated primarily by refugees from Eastern Thrace in 1913. Resort homes, 3 beaches and 2 camping grounds. At the moment a new holiday village is under construction in Nestinarka camping site. It will serve tourists from England, Germany and the Scandinavian countries all year round.
