The village of Kalovo is located in South-East Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality Malko Turnovo (Bourgas District). Situated on the southern slopes of the Bosnenskoto bilo ridge, between the Irinin chukar ridge to the west and the Ugrash ridge to the east, the settlement offers magnificent panoramic view towards the valley of the Mladejka River and the Central Strandja Mountain. The old authentic wooden houses still preserved in the village add to it a specific Revival atmosphere. Kalovo offers quick access to the nearby village of Zabernovo, which is located east of it and can be gained along a dirt road, either on foot or by bike. Also reachable from here are the Trakiiski lager (Thracian camp) place and the Petrova niva place.
