Town of Kameno

Town of Kameno is located in Bourgas district - South-East Bulgaria. It is administrative center of Kameno Municipality.
Kameno was first mentioned in Ottoman documents from 1730 under the name Kayali. That name was preserved up to 1934.
Kameno was proclaimed a town in 1974. The town is specialized in the production of sugar beet, sunflower, fruit and vegetable growing.

Landmarks: the church "St. Georgi" built in 1893.
