 The village of Topolitsa (Bourgas district) is located in South-East Bulgaria and is included in municipality Aytos. It is situated in the foothills of the southern branch of the Eastern Balkan Mountain /Hill Karamanetsa/. Above the village is the highest peak in the area - Ostritsa (666 m high). Topolitza borders east to lands of villages of Karageorgievo and Polyanovo, south to village of Chernograd, west to village of Raklinovo and north to Stara Planina mountain. Through the village Passes railway line Burgas-Sofia.
Topolitza is well maintained village. It is supplied with electricity, water, radio and TV services. At village lands аре cultivated cereals plants: wheat, rye, barley, oats, vetch, peas; technical plants: corn, sunflower, sugar beet, tobacco, cotton vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, cucumbers; permanent crops: vineyards and various fruit trees.
The name of the village (Topolitsa) means poplar and is given because the lots of poplars there (the very old name was "Kavak makhala", which is "poplar neighborhood" in Turkish). On both sides of the village is free flowing waters - Kaynak and Beshbunar ", but in central parts the water is catched into many fountains.
Population is Muslim and Christians, (Muslims domination).
