The village of Mihalkovo (Smolyan District) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is part of Municipality Devin. It is situated in Rhodopes mountain, 21km Nort-East from town of Devin and 76 km from district center town of Smolyan. The village is popular with its mineral water spring (2km from the village) whose water is naturally aerated. It is used (by drinking) for the treatment of chronic diseases of the gums, abdominal ulcers, chronic gastritis, cardio-vascular diseases, etc. The Mihalkovo bottled mineral water is popular in the country.
Holiday making facilities have been built in the region. 1 km away from the village of Mihalkovo is the dam lake of Vacha.
