The village of Pavelsko (Smolyan District) is located in The Rhodpes Mountain (South-Central Bulgaria) and is included in Municipality Chepelare. It is situated in the valley Ropkata which is famous and serves as the entry door to the heart of the Rhodopes. Pavelsko is 2 kilometers from the main highway and hiking trails to the mountain huts Pashaliitsa, Kabata, Izgrev, Chudnite Mostove, Skalnite Mostove and Persenk are accessible from here. The biggest holiday in the village is Ascension Day which is a celebration that takes place 40 days after Easter.
