Village of Orehovo, Smolyan, BulgariaVillage of Orehovo is situated very heart of The Rhodopes mountain (South-Central Bulgaria) in the foots of Chernatitsa hills, in the valley of Oreshitsa river, 60 km southwestern of Plovdiv, and 60 km north from Smolyan.
The location of the village in the mountain, and the natural characteristics (old green forests and fresh air) offer wonderful opportunities for mountain, ecological tourism and recreation close to nature. The climate is mild, and the air is rich in ions. There is a picturesque landscape with marvelous caves, karst forms and chasms.
