Buynovo

The village of Buynovo (Smolyan district) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in municipality Borino. It is situated in the Western parts of Rhodopes mountain, among old spruce and pine forests, 3 km from the Bulgarian-Greek border. The town of Devin is located 30 kilometers north of Buynovo and Smolyan (the district center) - 60 kilometers east. Due magnificent scenery of the Rhodope Mountains and the many natural sights around (Trigrad Gorge, the caves "Yagodinska cave" and "Devil`s Throat") , the village is suitable for development of tourism.
