The village of Voyvodinovo is located in South-Central Bulgaria. It is one of the biggest villages in the Maritsa municipality (Plovdiv District). There are mineral waters in the village.
Due to its proximity to the second largest city of Plovdiv (2 km to the east), the Trakiya motorway and the well-organised transport, Voivodinovo attracts many investitors to build manufacturing plants here. There is located the largest electronics plant in the Balkans which is under construction and will produce microelectronics, DVDs and computers. Several other plants are located in the village, mainly in the machine and food industries. There is a project for a golf course too.
