The village of Graf Ignatievo is located in South-Central Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality Maritsa (Plovdiv District). The village is situated just 2 km away from Trakiya highway leading to the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The second biggest town in Bulgaria Plovdiv is only 15 km away, the town of Hisarya (famous for its healing mineral springs) is about 39 km away, and ski resort Pamporovo is 80 km from the village. 65 km from the Graf Ignatievo is located the town of Panagyurishte and 70 km the town of Koprivshtitsa. There is a major military base of great importance used by the Bulgarian Air Forces and the US near the village of Graf Ignatievo.
