The village of Rozovets (Plovdiv district) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in municipality Brezovo. It is 50 km from Plovdiv. Neighboring villages are Slavyani and Chehlare (East), Zelenikovo (South), Babek (South-West), Svejen (North-west), Alexandrovo and Turiya (North). Rozovets is a typical mountain village, huddled in the southern foothills of the three highest peaks of the East (Sarnena) Stara Planina mountain - the peaks Bratan (1236 m), Samodivets and Slivovo gradishte. From the northwest and northeast there are two rivers - "Starata reka" and "Turskata reka" that two kilometers south (near the Bachurov bridge) infused into Maritsa river.
