The village of Buta (Pazardjik district) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in municipality Panagyurishte. It is situated in Sashtinska Sredna Gora mountain, in a small valley with an altitude 431 meters, near to a flow of the river Luda Yana. It is distanced 37 kilometers north of town of Pazardzhik of 8 kilometers south of the municipal center - town of Panagyurshte. To the east village borders to village of Popintsi and to the west to village of Banya. There are two dams in the land of the village of Bata that are suitable for sport fishing and one mineral springs in the area of "Toplika, which waters are trapped in pipes to beautiful fountain. Bata is well developed village with good infrastructure. There are health services, dental office, school ("Vasil Levski"), kindergarten ("Nadejda") and others. Sights: Bata village has a long history. In the area were found several Thracian mounds and various silver and gold jewelry and coins from different periods. Nearby is situated the "Krasenskata fortress" (called Kaleto), built around the X century, which have some preserved walls and whose recovery continues today. In the past, in the four corners of the village there were existing four chapels - St. Elijah, St. Petka, St. Mary, St. Dimitar.
