Village of Radovets

The village of Radovets (Haskovo District) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Topolovgrad. It is situated, 27km away from the town of Topolovgrad, 47km away from the town of Elhovo and 30km away from the Bulgarian-Greece and Bulgarian-Turkish border.
The settlement was founded XVIII century and it`s first name was Tatarkyoy - till 10/06/1899. Then the name was changed to Konstantinovo and at beginig of year 1950 to the current namr - Radovets.
The population of Radovets profess the Eastern Orthodox faith. There is very nice church "Sveti Konstantin and Helena" in the village.
