The village of Rozino is located in South-Central Bulgaria (Haskovo District). It is one of the biggest and most picturesque villages in the municipality Ivailovgrad and is located just some 25 km northwest of the town of Karlovo on both sides of the Sofia – Bourgas highway. There is a railway station at its far northern end. The fascination of the village of Rozino are its vast rose gardens, which have merged into one with the imposing figure of the Balkan. In addition to being a rose picking destination the village is also a good starting point for mountain hut Eho, which is located in the deep forests of National Park Central Balkan. The co-existence of four different ethnic communities determines the medley and opulence of the cultural calendar in the village. Here you can simultaneously attend the Christian Christmas day, the Muslim Ramadan, or Hristugina – a typical Karakachans’ holiday, as well as to visit the services in both the Christian Orthodox church and the Muslim mosque in the village.
