The village of Dositeevo (municipality Harmanli, Haskovo district) is located in south-west part of Sakar Mountain (South-Central Bulgaria), in the valley of Maritza river. It is situated 13 kilometers away from municipal center Harmanli, 49 kilometers from district center Haskovo and 266 kilometers from the capital city of Sofia. The distance to the Turkish border is 52 kilometers and to the Greek border - 45 kilometers and access to the borders is easy because the proximity of Maritsa highway (2km from Dositeevo). The closest villages are Rogozinovo (west) and Yerusalimovo (east).

The place is suitable for fishing maniacs. Near by Dositeevo flows Maritsa river and there is a large dam (some kilometers north from the village)

Landmarks: Thracian and Byzantine settlements; an old Roman road of Constantinople; Thracian sanctuary Hasarcheto or Koncheto; old village houses; church St. Ivan Rilski (built in 1836)
