Chiren

The village of Chiren (Vratsa district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Vratsa. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers to the north of town of Vratsa. Near Chiren is the only Bulgarian natural gas storage.
Landmarks: North from Chiren is situated Roman fortress. Near it were found several potteries and remains of military Roman path; 2 popular places "Bojia most" ("God`s bridge") and "Tigancheto" ("little frying pan") - unique natural forms carved by the rivers; Other point of interеst is the cave "Ponora"
