The village of Kameno pole (Vratsa District) is located in North-West Bulgaria and belongs to the Municipality Roman. It is situated 17km from town of Roman and 23km from town of Mezdra in beautiful countryside region with interesting geological formations (the name Kameno pole means Stone field). Neigbour villages are Drashan, Gorna Beshovitsa and Dolna Beshovitsa.There is regular bus lines from Mezdra to Sofia that pass the village.

History: According to some scholars, Kameno pole is a settlement dating from about 40,000 years and is one of the oldest inhabited places in the world.

Landmarks: Village of Kameno pole has unique caves and many Thracian mounds (north from the village). Near the village there are rock formations which have been declared natural landmarks. There is a medieval fortress named "Kaleto" which is located 1.67 km. northeast from the village center, on the left bank of river. Other landmarks are some several important archaeological sites and fishing lakes.
