The village of Ochindol is located in North-West Bulgaria on 4 km from the beautiful Iskar defile, in the south slopes of the Vratza Balkan. The village is included in Municipality Mezdra (Vratsa District). A small and meandering road is leading to the village. The tourists can enjoy the amazing panorama views from the gradually climbing. Ochin Dol is an ancient village. The founded three Thracian basilicas, one of them absolutely preserved, excite interest in everyone, who loves to move into the past times. The biggest sight here is the early-Christian temple dating - V-VI c., situated on the top hill of the village. The uniqueness here is the christening place with a cross and sanctuary, where the sun rising rays fall over. The people from the Ochindol believe in the sacred power of this place and now they have started the renovation of the basilica.
