The village of Gorna Kremena (Vratsa District) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is part of Municipality Mezdra. It is situated 5,67km west from town of Mezdra. Neighboring villages are Dolna Kremena, Kalen and Varbeshnitza.

The village has good tourist potential. The area is semi-mountainous and surrounded with wooded hills. There are several mineral springs in the vicinity. At 3km away is the prehistoric site of the village "Zaminetz".
The village of Gorna Kremena has several daily buses to Mezdra and Vratsa and one to capital city of Sofia.

Sightseeing: There is a Memorial of Died for the Liberation of Bulgaria.
