It is situated 16.18 km. North of the municipal center town of Kula. Neighbour villages of Topolovets are Dolni Boshnyak, Kalenik and Tsar Petrovo. Along the village passes the river of Topolovets and 7 km. in South direction is situated dam of Kula which is suitable for recreation and fishing.

Sights: On the territory of the village is situated the waterfall "Petrov Tserak" with drop of water about 10 m. The access to the waterfall is difficult because there is no road. Starting point to it is the village of Topolovets. Near the waterfall are found remains of an ancient fortress called "Petsino Kale".
