Village of Tianovtsi

TianovtsiThe village of Tianovtsi (Vidin District) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is part of Municipality Bregovo. It is situated 16km north from town of Vidin on the road to the village of Deleyna, low on the both sides of a stream, which flows next into Deleyniski flow.
The gully has a southern exposure and the form of copper in the middle of which was built Old Village fountain. Most of the houses in village are old.
Landmarks: The Church in Tianovtsi was built in 1867 with the help of inhabitants if neighbour villages (mainly Chorokalina  - Vinarovo). In 1876 it was burnt-out and destroyed by the Turks and Cherkess and after Bulgarian liberation (1879) a new one was built at same place.
