The village of Baley (Vidin District) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Bregovo. It is situated on a terrace, close to the river Timok. In Northwest direction, near the end of the Baley were found remains of an ancient village existed during the Early Bronze Age (in approximately 1500 - 1200 years before Christ). In official documents the first information about the village of Baley dating from the second half of the 15th and early 16 century. The basic livelihood of the inhabitants of the Baley village is agriculture. There are cultivated all typical for the geographic region crops. Also, the area has good tradition in gardening and is famous as wine region.
