History of the village: In the beginning of the 19th century, at one of the village hills, was settled a man named Shishko (from where village origin) from town of Teteven. Later more settlers from the same region settled there and it is gradually growing. The population is 100% Orthodox Christians.
Landmarks: about 1 km. away is located the interesting place "Plochaka.
