Mokresh

The village of Mokresh is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Vulchedrum (Montana District). From south to south-east the village is rounded by the river Dushilnica.
Mokresh has rich history. There was a life even in the Stone - Copper Age and In Thracian and Roman times. In this place were living the Mizians, from where came the name Mizia. Since it is remembered, Mokresh is composited of two villages - Mokresh and Dushilnica. From 2.12.1950 Mokresh and Dushilnica are declared for one village called Mokresh.
