The village of Spanchevtsi is located in North-West Bulgaria. It is part of Varshets Municipality, Montana District. Spanchevtsi is situated in the skirts of picturesque West Stara Planina Mountain, near one of the spiritual pearls of Bulgaria - Klisurski monastery! It is the area of the famous Todorini kukli peak (1785 m). The village is spa resort. The curative mineral waters of this region have been known from Ancient times. The temperature of the waters is 36,4 - 38° C. It is clear, colorless, odorless and palatable. The hypo-tonic properties of the water, the low fluorine content, its softness and almost uniform temperature determine its curative properties. The mineral water contains number of trace elements such as iron, lithium, barium, aluminum, strontium, phosphates, manganese, arsenic, etc. It is suitable for external use, as well as for inhalations, irrigation and drinking.
