The relief is flat-hilly. Medkovets is an ancient village with centuries of historical development. The region is rich in archeological monuments from 8th-6th c. B.C. There are traces from pre-historic villages in the Medkovo fields - in the Lipena Locality around 5 km to the west of the Pchelinete Locality and in the Glania Geran Locality. The St. Paraskeva Church was built in 1859 and has been declared a monument of culture.
