Village of Bukovets

The village of Bukovets (Montana District) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Brusartsi. It is situated is 29 km away from town of Montana and 106km from the capital city of Sofia.
The village is passed  from river "Nechinska bara" (suitable for fishing) which forms a small beautiful gorge. Bukovets is at one side of the gorge, while at other there is old forest. The river flows into Smirnenski dam, located between the villages Bukovets and Smirnenski.
