The village is located to the northeast of Teteven and to the northwest of Shipkovo mineral baths. The nearest towns are Lovech, Troyan and Ugarchin. Here is the most beautiful nature in the region. The peaks of Vasiliov (1495 m.), Stargon (1425 m.) and Koinets (1155 m.) stick surrounded by the magnificent forests. Settled at 420 meters above the sea level, in the beautiful Balkan gorge, the land belonging to the Lesidren has different rock structure: red sand and black rock coals. The magnificent nature, the fresh air and the modern rest houses can make the visitor’s recreation of full value. The carst relief is suitable for mountaineering. The winter here is mild and the summer is breezy. At the distance of 4 km. is located the “Sopot” dam.
