The village of Nikola Kozlevo is located in the Northeast part of Bulgaria in Shumen district. It is center of municipality Nikola Kozlevo and lies approximate 85 kilometres from Varna and the sea coast and easy commuting to Shumen and Novi Pazar. Nikola Kozlevo borders with village Pet Mogili (on the East - Toward Varna), Kaolinovo on the west, Todor Ikonomovo on the north and General Kolevo on the southeast.
The village is situated in an ecologically clean area offering fresh air and tranquility. In Nikoal Kozlevo there is a Hunting lodge offering an accommodation as well as hunting tourism of deers, hogs, roes, etc. The main occupation of the village residents is agriculture and farming.
