The Nikola Kozlevo Municipality is situated in the northeastern part of Shoumen district. It is in the southern end of the Danube plain. A third-class road of length 23 km crosses the Municipality and is the only road connection of municipal centere village of Nikoal Kozlevo to Novi Pazar town and Kaolinovo village.
There are no large polluters of the environment in the Municipality Nikola Kozlevo and around it. The only tourist site is the Hunters` Hut in Pet Mogili village used for organized national and international hunting tourism.
