The village of Kyulevcha (Shoumen District) is located in North-East Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Kaspichan. It is situated only 3 kilometres away from the world-famous monument Madara Horseman, 75km from city of Varna, 396km from the capital city of Sofia and 20km from city of Shumen. There is a tourist track, following which, you can enjoy the surrounding nature and feel the positive energy of the Relief of Madara Horseman (it is the 4th energy source). The crystal clear air and water, as well as the energy radiating from the cliffs make it an attractive place to visit. Nestled under the Madara cliffs, the village of Kyulevcha has preserved its untouched Bulgarian spirit. According to linguists the name of the village is connected with ashes, while according to archaeologists with a tower. There have not been any systematic archaeological excavations, however findings of old coins from the time of Alexander the Great, Byzantine emperor Theodosius, as well as the traces of a Roman road speak of the presence of an ancient settlement. There is a locality, which the local residents call the "Greek massacre" which is connected with the battle between Khan Krum and Nikephoros. During feudal times a village the name of the village was Slavomir.
