Community center in village of Zdravets

The village of Zdravets is located in North-East Bulgaria. and is part of Municipality Samuil (Razgrad District). it is situated in the southeast 15 km far from the town of Isperih and lies on the slopes of a dry valley where there was a river in the past.
Nowadays the settlement has been formed by the previous two settlements: Golyam Torsun and Malak Torsun. It was renamed to Simeonovo on 1st June 1943 and later on to Zdravets on 17th September 1947. Two ancient settlements and two Thracian mounds have been registered in the village. In the 30s there were remains from Roman stone road in the Djinevis place, leading to Silistra. In the old graveyard there are janissaries’ gravestones.
